Backyard Awnings, Zipshades and Shutters

The Challenge
This client had several adjustments they wished to make on their home. Enhanced security and storm protection was needed for the larger windows. A back patio space was receiving harsh sunlight at all hours and was out in the open exposed to wind. Finally, an extension to the house in the form of a pool house/pool required additional shading that could be taken away with minimal effort.

Solution Overview
Rollac worked with the customer to select a shutter color that complimented and blended in with the existing structure. Our double wall extruded storm slats (SecuraMax) were chosen, this is the sturdiest slat we have available. The client’s backyard patio was outfitted with our Zipshade, an exterior and sleek rolling screen. The Zipshades in this case were soffit mounted, hiding the housing of the Zipshade in the ceiling. Last we outfitted the new pool house with three retractable awnings. Allowing the pool to be almost completely shaded at all times with just the push of a button.
